1 Package of shortcake cups (I was lazy, lol! You could make your own or use pound cake)
6-8 Strawberries, rinsed and chopped
2 T. Sugar or Splenda
Mix the strawberries with the sugar and let it sit in the fridge for about an hour, this was it creates it's own syrup. Place cakes on a plate, spoon the strawberries nice and high into the cup. (some spilling onto the plate is fine!) Top with whipped cream, and spoon some of the strawberry syrup over the whipped cream for a nice presentation!
We enjoyed this. It was a light little dessert after a heavy meal, and very easy to prepare. 4 Stars.
